RGT has released the Intruder, a 1/10 scale RTR crawler (EX86020) designed for realistic off-road adventures. Built on a 285 wheelbase platform, it embodies the essence of a two-door climbing vehicle with a solid body structure and classic appearance. Crafted with a 3mm CNC aluminum alloy chassis rail and steel solid link bars, the Intruder prioritizes durability. The chassis features a reverse-gear split transmission structure, four-wheel drive, and a front-mounted motor for stability. Steering precision is ensured by a servo-mounted-on-axle shaft with a Panhard bar for a positive Ackerman steering angle. The use of spiral gears allowed the drive shafts to be mounted in the axles above the level of the suspension links.
